“Romantic, charming little getaway”

Stayed here on our way down to Carmel. Very quaint. Staff was so attentive. Gardens are beautiful. Very quiet and romantic. Didn’t even know there were other guests here until we were checking out. We had a balcony, fireplace room overlooking the garden with a peep of the ocean.

Beautiful Serenity!

My husband and I stayed at this lovely Inn for a week. The room was beautiful and overlooked a gorgeous flowered courtyard. The breakfasts were delicious and charmingly served, fresh cookies daily and the latte machine were big pluses. The grounds are gorgeous and the nearby beach and wildlife were fabulous. The Inn people were friendly and very helpful with all of our questions! We would definitely go back!

“Idyllic Hideaway . . . ”

What a stunning hotel.

Arriving to Moss Beach (after an 11 hour flight) in the dark whilst driving an unfamiliar hire car on the wrong side of the road (for us!) isn’t the easiest way to find this lovely bijou hotel. But once there . . . wow !!!

Fantastically appointed room, perfect decor, lovely surrounding grounds leading out to Seal Cove where we saw . . . . seals !!!

Add to that the great communications before, during and after our stay . . . what’s not to love !!!

“Great inn at a great location”

My wife and I stayed in this upperclass inn with 10 rooms. It’s a bit like staying with friends in their large French villa. Free expresso and water/soft drinks are all time available, nice spacious rooms, very comfortable beds. At 5pm you get a free wine degustation that we took outside on the terrace. Breakfast is to high standards, somewhat European.
The Inn is located in a very nice garden and very close to the beach. Overall a great experience , highly recommended.

The Seal Cove Inn was an incredible start to our California honeymoon. I can say enough about the quality and service of this charming establishment. They take the time to attend to every detail. Our room was lovely, the grounds are alive with flowers and wildlife and our breakfasts were thoughtfully prepared (honey filled raspberries??!). We will be back!

“Wonderful place to stay”

Beautiful atmosphere next to the Fitzgerald Reserve, so the feeling of being in peaceful nature. This B and B is beautiful and charming on the inside and out. Wonderful staff. Great wine. We toured the apartment that you can rent that includes a full kitchen. We’ll be back.

“Absolutely Beautiful!”

Kevin greeted my sister-in-law and I at the door, welcomed us and immediately made a wonderful first impression! He is a handsome young man with a sparking personality who gave us wonderful advice about the surrounding area. Kevin showed us to our room which was airy, spacious and comfortable. The room made me feel like I was at a spa……the towel warmer and fireplace were awesome additions! To top off the night, he brought us to the coffee bar which had an abundant choices of coffees and teas and the most delicious chocolate chip cookies ever. I ate my fair share and then some! After a fabulous night’s sleep, we made our way to breakfast. Stacey, a charming, sweet, vivacious and attractive woman showed us to our table. She chatted with us a bit and was so friendly that I felt like I had known her my entire life. Breakfast was already laid out as we said we would eat at 9am. The fruit was so deliciously fresh, the bread basket contained yummy muffins, croissants and bagels, and the granola was scrumptious. The breakfast room looks out onto the grounds of the inn, which has beautiful gardens. Each morning Stacey feeds the “little critters” outside and while eating our breakfast, we were able to watch the rabbits, quail and birds gobble up that day’s feast. Since it was a beautiful day, we hiked from the inn along the coast, stopped for a drink and then made our way back to the inn. We were grateful as Stacey allowed us to keep our car parked there after we checked out, that morning. Before we headed south, we stopped back to say our goodbyes and to thank both Kevin and Stacey, such valuable assets to the inn! They are each so personable, so adorable and really made us feel at home! I will return someday to have a romantic get-a-way with my husband!

My wife and I spent two nights at Seal Cove Inn as part of an excursion to the Bay Area and a Sonoma wine event. We were totally happy that we went out of our way to stay at Seal Cove Inn and experience the scenery and wildlife available just out their back door. The food, accommodations and relaxed lifestyle were just what we needed at the time.

“Beautiful Inn and great hospitality”

We visited for two nights while doing a business trip in Half Moon Bay. The welcome and service at the inn were outstanding. The inn itself is lovely with a pretty little garden in the back and close to a trail where you can see the seals laying on the beach in a cove nearby. We had room 6 which faced the garden and the sea (the sea if far way though). The fireplace gave a nice warm touch to the room and the bed linens were the best ever! We enjoyed our breakfast overlooking the garden and where we watched several partridges enjoying the seeds put out for them. A great find.

Wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Seal Cove Inn which exceeded our expectations! We opted for the more spacious room (#5) with a jacuzzi and private balcony overlooking the garden. Even though it was a lot pricier, we absolutely loved it! Cozy fireplace, soft sheets, comfy bed, and extra little details like a towel warmer made it that more special.

The house was beautiful, clean and modern; like something out of a magazine. We didn’t hear our neighbors once which was nice. We also loved the complimentary wine and nuts and having breakfast delivered to our room. The location was also perfect as it was a brief walk to the scenic beach or distillery. We loved it so much we hope to make stays at this property a new tradition!
